Three certifications, each one live with Wayne and Rosanne Prevett — over 7,000 life celebrations between them, and more than 2,000 officiants and celebrants trained and certified. Open to anyone, anywhere. No experience required.
What we certify
Each stands on its own. Take one, or take all three and become a Life Celebration Specialist®. The Academy is not limited to rites of passage — more certifications are coming.

Two days live, taught alongside licensed funeral directors and end-of-life consultants. No licence is required to lead a funeral anywhere in North America — only training. Our clean route into the work. Certification is issued through the Certified Celebrants Association.
A half-day in the Academy's own values-based ceremony for infants and children. Scheduled on request. The couples you married are starting families — this is how you serve them next.
The same craft, applied where people spend most of their lives. Thresholds happen at work too — a colleague's parent dies, a child is born, someone retires or falls ill — and most workplaces handle them badly because nobody knows what to say. Certification details are being finalized.
All three together
All three certifications plus twelve months in the Crossroads, for $2,497 CAD. Bought separately that comes to $2,912, so the path saves you $415 — and it makes you one of very few people qualified to serve a family at every threshold of life: the child, the marriage, the farewell.
Common to all three
Certification does not require membership. It requires agreement with our values and staying in good standing.
